Principal of Tony Stitt Associates, is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and of their Financial and Tax faculties. He also holds the Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction.
Tony is a highly experienced professional, having operated and operating with major financial organisations, providing their client companies with tax advice.
Tony works with businesses and individuals providing financial and tax advice and services. His approach is friendly and supportive and he is always available to all TSA clients.
Following articles with a smaller firm of Chartered Accountants, Tony started his career with Whinney Murray before moving on to Deutsche Bank. Initially with corporate and tax based finance, he became International Tax Advisor Deutsche Bank Offshore before spending over 10 years as Head of Deutsche Assett Management tax and 2 years as Chairman Tax Committee.
During this time, Tony proved his skills in team building and management, leadership, negotiation at the highest level (including International/Governmental) and decision making.
He then worked with the Investment Management Association (IMA) as Senior Tax Advisor, providing technical support and commercial insight into policy changes at Government level for Funds Industry.
Also working with the IMA/EFAMA (European Fund and Asset Management Association) he provided input into EU policy review of the Funds industry.
More recently, Tony worked with Deloitte LLP as Tax Director - Real Estate and Investment Management. From 2006 he started providing direct business and tax advice, planning and services to individuals and companies, particularly in the areas of business start-ups, international working and tax advice, and property ownership.
